Her deck layout is purposeful and secure, with wide side decks, a deep protected cockpit, solid dodger, and bulkhead steering. Sail handling is configured for straightforward cruising, with a furling genoa and in-boom furling mainsails enabling efficient short-handed sailing across a wide range of conditions.
Below deck, Tauranga is arranged for time spent living aboard. The U-shaped galley is practical and well appointed with a 4-burner stove, oven, and generous storage for extended passages. The saloon seats six comfortably, creating a relaxed central space for meals, planning, and life at anchor.
Forward accommodation includes a double V-berth cabin and separate head with shower. A dedicated navigation station leads aft via a passageway to the master cabin, which features a double berth, writing desk, and private ensuite, offering a private and functional owner’s retreat.
Powered by an 88hp turbocharged Yanmar engine with Max-Prop and rope cutter, Tauranga delivers reliable propulsion when required. Four 48W solar panels managed by Victron systems support efficient off-grid cruising and time away from marina dependence.
